Inspired from the beauty in simplicity, the refinement of expression and the harmony of colors that to me embody part of the Japanese culture, I created this series of photos in memory of the 6th anniversary since the massive earthquake hit Japan in 2011. I was living in Tokyo at the time and the emotions I experienced during that day have stayed with me ever since. These photos are an attempt to convey one of the Japanese life philosophies based on enjoying the simple beauty of life while reflecting on the impermanence of things.
This series of photographs is printed on heavy weight, natural white, ultra premium, matte, 100% natural cotton artistic paper. Each image is produced in a professional photo lab. Premium inks are used to ensure durability, the finest tonal variations, clarity of image and vivid colors with a life span of at least 100 years. Each print is numbered and signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The production of prints will stop after the limited edition prints are sold out. If a different print size is negotiated, it will be counted as one of the limited prints.
